Precision Drawn Aluminium Fine Wire
Overview
Precision-drawn aluminium fine wire held to tight diameter tolerance — suited to specialised electrical, electronic and industrial applications requiring fine-gauge consistency

Properties
Manufacturing Process
Step 1
Rod Selection
High-purity or alloy rod stock (1350, 1100, 5154) selected to match the conductivity, strength and corrosion needs of the fine-wire application.
Step 2
Multi-pass Fine Drawing
Rod is progressively drawn through a series of diamond and tungsten-carbide dies down to fine gauges (as low as 0.05 mm) with precise tension control.
Step 3
Inter-pass Annealing
Controlled in-line annealing between drawing passes relieves work hardening and prevents wire breakage at the finest gauges.
Step 4
Final Anneal
Final soft or half-hard anneal sets the required temper, balancing tensile strength with the elongation needed for downstream processing.
Step 5
Surface & Diameter Inspection
Laser micrometer scanning verifies diameter tolerance (±0.002 mm) and surface finish along the full wire length.
Step 6
Spooling & Packaging
Wire is precision-spooled onto bobbins or spools sized to customer requirements, tested, certified and packed for dispatch.
