Step 1
Rod Preparation
5154 alloy rods are selected for high Mg content (3.1–3.9%) ensuring good strength and corrosion resistance in the finished wire.
Step 2
Multi-pass Drawing
Rods drawn progressively to fine braiding wire diameters (0.1–1.0 mm) through tungsten-carbide dies with controlled inter-pass annealing.
Step 3
Precision Annealing
Final soft anneal delivers the flexibility and elongation needed for smooth braiding at high machine speeds without wire breakage.
Step 4
Surface Treatment
Wire surface cleaned and lubricated to minimise friction on braiding machine carriers and ensure consistent payoff tension.
Step 5
Bobbin / Spool Winding
Fine braiding wire wound onto precision bobbins in standard sizes compatible with major braiding machine platforms.
Step 6
QC & Packaging
Diameter (±0.005 mm), tensile, elongation and surface finish verified; corrosion resistance checked; bobbins labelled and packed for dispatch.
